New Doobie Brothers ‘Live at Wolf Trap’ Release

Published on May 10th, 2013

Nearly ten years after its filming, one of the Doobie Brothers’ signature live concerts is being released on Blu-ray for the first time. On June 4, Eagle Rock Entertainment will reissue ‘Live At Wolf Trap’ on CD and DVD, as well as release the video on Blu-ray.

Recorded on July 25, 2004 at the scenic Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts in Vienna, Virginia, ‘Live At Wolf Trap’ captured the band in fine form. Hits, classics, rarities, and recent tracks were all included in the eclectic set, which ended up being the last recorded performance of the late drummer Keith Knudsen.

Both the DVD and Blu-ray versions are packaged with bonus features, extra live tracks (Dangerous, Takin’ It To The Streets, Without You) and outtakes.

The Doobie Brothers are on tour in 2013, with over 30 shows planned between May and November including a performance with the Steve Miller Band at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado.
