March 31, 2011 – Robert Plant must be enjoying his time out on the road. The legendary vocalist has added over a dozen new concerts to his ongoing “Band of Joy” trek across North America and Europe. Five new concerts have been announced for the USA including San Diego, Columbus, St. Louis, and Atlantic City, while another half-dozen shows are confirmed for Europe during the summer.

The largely theater-based tour kicked off last year and has taken Plant and his five-piece band all across America and the UK. The focus of the set lists has been new material from the highly praised Band of Joy CD which debuted last fall, but fans won’t go home without hearing the English singer belt out some Led Zeppelin classics.

Now stretching well into August with a European leg, there are plenty of chances to catch the tour.
