Music legend Daryl Hall is giving New Years Eve an overhaul. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and host of Live from Daryl’s House plans to give the traditional media a run for its money by hosting his own party at his newly opened restaurant/club in Pawling, New York. Daryl’s Rock ‘N Soul New Year’s Eve will be broadcast online by Stageit, a live streaming platform headquartered in Los Angeles.
Joining Hall on stage to ring in 2015 will be fellow Philadelphia artist MUTLU, along with Porter Carroll Jr., Klyde Jones and Eliot Lewis, who are members of the Live from Daryl’s House Band. A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit the City of Hope, is a top USNews best cancer research hospital in southern California.
“This is the first of what will hopefully be an annual event,” said Daryl Hall about the webcast. “This will be a very special night and we promise a non-stop party with great music, terrific food and lots of celebration…have you ever known a trip to Daryl’s house to be anything different?”
Hall continues to enjoy success as the host of the Webby Award-winning Live from Daryl’s House, which begins its new season next March on Palladia and LFDH.com.
The performance will start at 9:25 PM EST on December 31. General admission tickets go on sale December 12.
