COLUMBIA, M.D. – The grounds at Merriweather Post Pavilion will soon be shaking.

M3 Rock Festival, known for presenting a depth and breadth of ’80s hard rock acts unmatched by any other event in the United States, will do it all again April 25 and 26.

Their lineups are an annual who’s-who of classic metal artists, and this year is no exception with headliners Night Ranger, Tesla, and Skid Row frontman turned solo recording artist Sebastian Bach.

Two days will pack in all the action, starting on Friday, April 25.

Metal queen Lita Ford and Winger will provide opening support on that night for area legends KIX, along with the heavy metal of Extreme.

Saturday starts early with performances from onetime Motley Crue member John Corabi, Keel, and a true era rarity in the form of Autograph. Known for their smash hit “Turn Up the Radio” and their tour opening for Van Halen in 1984, the band has fully reunited minus original singer Steve Plunkett.

Jack Russell’s version of Great White, L.A. Guns, Stryper, Slaughter, and Queensryche will keep things going before Night Ranger, Sebastian Bach and Tesla close out the second and final night.

Set times are yet to be announced, but the festival takes pains to make sure the venue’s two stages stagger the performances, making it possible for fans to catch every band on the bill.

Tickets can still be obtained through TicketFly.
