The Reunion Is Here: Revisiting the Last Fleetwood Mac Tour

They said the day would never come, but Christine McVie is back in Fleetwood Mac, and there’s a full tour in the works for 2014.

The 70-year-old singer who put her velvet voice to such unforgettable songs as “Say You Love Me”, “Songbird”, and “You Make Loving Fun” says she’s tired of being cooped up in retired life, and has been eager to tour ever since joining her bandmates for a one-off gig last year.

This fall, Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, John McVie, Mick Fleetwood, and Christine McVie will embark on their second world tour in the same amount of years. It’s a welcome spike in activity for a band that used to only surface every four or five years during breaks in the solo careers and projects of its members.

Fans had to wait five years for their 2009 ‘Unleashed’ tour, and another four years after that for the next outing in 2013.
