Continuing the renaissance that has defined his recent years, the legendary Bryan Ferry has announced he will make his debut performance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival while completing his first North American tour in three years.
Ferry, who is long overdue to play the iconic southern California music convergence, is following up on the landmark orchestra tour of his home U.K. which landed him front page critical acclaim.
Sans Orchestra, Ferry is due to present what he is calling “an incredible set list of hits, favorites rarities and covering 40 years of career highlights”.
The “Can’t Let Go Tour” kicks off on April 5 in Vancouver before traveling down the west coast for gigs in Seattle, Portland, Las Vegas, Oakland, San Diego, Los Angeles, and Santa Barbara, along with the two sure-to-be-storied appearances at Coachella.
The musician is also at work on a follow up to his 2010 album Olympia, met with universal praise for its melding of classic and modern Ferry-esque rhythms.
